Global Warming

The Burning of Fossil Fuels
Global Warming is affecting our planet and environment. It is caused by the standard temperature of Earth's climate system. Although this has been happening for a while, it's pace has overall been increasing rapidly over the last few years because of the burning of fossil fuels. Global Warming is the main aspect of climate change because burning fossil fuels has gone up in numbers because of the human population. Coal, oil, and organic gasses are forms of fossil fuels. It's a problem because the gasses that leave the fossils are prevented from leaving the Earth's surface and get trapped in the atmosphere. That extra heat trapped in the atmosphere has caused temperatures to go up overtime, which is known as Global Warming. Most animals are dying because of Global Warming. The heat is killing the habitat of most animals. If we don't do anything to stop this, different kinds of species can become extinct.
Spreading the Word
Why did I chose to write about Global Warming? I think if people are more aware about the damage and danger global warming and it's effect on on our planet they can prevent it. Like for example if they know that because the heat trapped in the atmosphere is melting ice in colder areas not only do the animals of that region lose their home, but the water will eventually rise. Or maybe the fact that gasses are just a dangerous chemical in our planet. I think it's nice if people know and are aware about this so they can make changes in their daily routine to decrease harmful waste into our planet.
Causes and Effects of Global Warming
Climate change has taken over and impacted our planet. One of the main causes of Global Warming is known as "The greenhouse effect". Gasses in the atmosphere such as water, vapor or carbon dioxide let sunlight in, but trap heat inside. The more greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere the more heat gets trapped, which causes Earth's temperatures to increase. Climate change has a bad effect on our oceans. weather, and food sources. The colder areas such as Greenland and Antarctica are melting which causes water levels to rise, and puts animals in that region in danger. But we can help this because is we replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources like solar panels and windmills.
Our Planet Affects All of Us
There's something right that is happening in our planet that will affect all of us. Human activity from pollution to the over population, are increasing the Earth's temperature and changing the world around us. We are killing our own planet and all living organisms. But we can all do something to reduce this. Like instead of having to drive to school everyday, on warm mornings I can walk instead. That will reduce the gases of a car. Walking or riding bikes is an easier and better way of transportation instead of buses or cars.
